FLAGS in the PARK
Last year we were proud to display the beautiful American Flags in the Katie Helm Park, purchased by the patriotic residents and friends of the Town of Dagsboro.
This year we would once again like to know if anyone is interested in honoring our Service Personnel with an American Flag (approximately 12” x 18”) at a cost of $2.00 each. There is no limit to the number of flags you may purchase. The flags would be displayed on Memorial Day, Flag Day, Labor Day and Veteran’s Day. You may donate in your name or to honor or in memory of someone.
We will be using the flags which were in good condition that were left from last year in addition to the newly purchased flags. Unlike last year, the name of the person donating the flag will only be printed in the Newsletter the month following the donation. You may remit your check for $2.00 for each flag payable to the “Town of Dagsboro” either by mail or bringing it to the Town Hall.
The display from last year was very impressive and enjoyed by our residents as well as visitors. We know you will take pride in honoring our Veterans and Personnel still serving their Country by contributing to this project.
